Maria Marros is a native Charlottean who attended Queens University of Charlotte where she received a BA in Political Science. Maria attended law school in North Carolina where her appreciation of the law blossomed. During law school, Maria was a member of her school’s Trial Team where she thrived competing in national competitions. Maria was also an Extern with the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office where she enjoyed helping clients navigate through the complexities of their cases.

Maria followed her dream and began practicing family law, helping clients in many counties across North Carolina. If there is one thing Maria understands, it is the importance and intricacies of family and relationships. Maria excels in connecting with clients and handling sensitive cases where children and their well-being is the utmost importance. Maria prides herself on being transparent and honest with her clients. She empowers her clients by truly listening to their stories and giving them the grace and empathy that they deserve. Maria will zealously advocate for her clients inside and out of the courtroom. While Maria shines as a litigator, she understands that sometimes the best solution for a client is to negotiate and come to a favorable agreement prior to entering the courtroom. It is Maria’s goal to help families transition through divorce and custody matters as quickly and painlessly as possible. Maria is fluent in Greek and conversational in Spanish. She is an active member of her church and other local organizations. Maria will continue to serve clients in both Mecklenburg and Union County.

When Maria is not practicing law, she is a busy wife and mother of two young children.
